MTN 500MB For 25 Naira – New Night Plan

Mtn has vowed to remain on top of the game suprising it costomers with unbelievable cheap data plans. After introducing different affordable plans such as the 5GB For N2000 Month Plan , they’ve now introduce an extra-cheap data night plan. This is just after Airtel hyped their so-called unlimited night data plan price to about N500 per hour.This new night plan offers 500MB data for 25 Naira. Super-cheap isn't it? Whether you are just going to browse or you intend to download this plan will fit in just fine.


This plan allows you to browse all night with 500MB for just N25 Naira and is usable between 12:00am-4:00am. Once you subscribe you'll be offered 500MB to browse through out the night.However,you cannot resubscribe after you exhaust the data until you wait for the following night and you must be on MTN Pulse.

 How To Subscribe For Mtn Night Plan

  • Migrate to mtn pulse by dialing *406#
  • Recharge your line at least N30 
  • Send Night to 131 to subscribe
  • Soon youll receive a text  like “Dear Customer, you have successfully subscribed to Free Night Browsing between 00:00 and 04:00. N25 has been deducted from your account. Enjoy!"
  • Connect your device or PC and fire on.


 I’m patiently waiting for an unlimited plan from mtn coupled with release of mtn 4G network, can possibly fathom the speed.

How To Use Airtel Blackberry Plan on Android (3GB for N1000)




Airtel Blackberry complete plan is still working on Android device,however it requires some specific settings. Airtel Blackberry plan offers 3GB Data for N1000. This plan is somewhat affordable when compared to normal data plans and will go a long way in saving you some extra cash.without much ado, lets jump right into the procedure.

Procedure
This is divided into two parts; the IMEI tweaking and the Subscription proper.

IMEI Tweaking
Before you'll be able to use Airtel blackberry plan you'll need to tweak your phone's IMEI into a BBB10 IMEI. Therefore,we'll require a BB10 IMEI which i'll provide.
  • BB10 IMEI is 356760051193
  • Add any last two digit and confirm the IMEI using IMEI Analyzer.
  • If you don't know how, or you're new to tweaking Check Here for full explanation on getting and adding it to your device.
  • After you've successfully tweaked the IMEI,confirm it by dialing *#06#
Subscription Proper
  • Recharge your Airtel Line with 1000 Naira.
  • Dial *431# to activate the plan.
  • Set your device Apn with internet.ng.airtel.com 
  • Save and connect your internet.
  • Dial *140# to check remaining bundle.

How To Get 5GB + N2560 Airtime on MTN For N2000

A lot of surprise coming from MTN lately, could this be due to their recent huge lost in customers which they’re trying to make up for? Anyway it is though; I hope it’s worth a while. Just of recent MTN introduced an affordable data plan of 3.75GB for N2000 which is 500% better than previous data plans we had. Just yesterday again, I received information regarding a new data plan that left me stunned. Before I inform you, see the text for yourself.

 At first I said to myself this is too good to be true, but I subsequently found out that it’s actually real. This plan offers 5GB data + N2560 all for N2000.This is probably the most affordable plan we’ll ever get from MTN so I guess it’s best if we make hay while the sun still shines.

 Who Is Eligible?

 Well virtually everyone is eligible for this plan as long as you have an MTN SIM card and you’re on MTN True talk.

 How to Subscribe

  • First thing to do is to migrate to MTN True talk if you’re not on the package by dialing *400#
  • Soon after you receive confirmation for migration, Load N2000 Airtime on your line
  • Send in SMS D2000 to 131 to subscribe. This plan is valid for 30 days.

Also there’s another plan similar to this that offers 100MB + N1950 for N500.If you intend to opt in for this just Send V500 to 131 and it’ll be activated immediately. This plan is valid for 7 days.

 The two other plans introduced by MTN are the 3.75GB and 1.3GB for N2000 and N1000 respectively.

  • To subscribe for 3.75GB Plan - SMS 110 to 131 and you’ll be charged N2000 for activation.
  • To subscribe for 1.3GB Plan - SMS 106 to 131 this costs N1000.

Airtel Introduces Free Facebook Access To All of Its Customers

Few years back, I can vividly remember when we had free acess to facebook with almost all of our Networks,shortly after it was discontinued for whatsoever reason best known to them all. Airtel NG has now officially reintroduce this free facebook plan.This plan is open to all Airtel customers and does not require some sort of eligibility.


Airtel Free Facebook provides you with free unlimited access to facebook at all times. However some photos and video are not available.Just a normal facebook to stay updated with your buddies at all times.

 How To Access Airtel Free Facebook

 All you have to do is to do is launch your browser and type in free.facebook.com instead of the normal facebook.com

 Does this work with all Browsers?

 Well tecnically I'll say no,justifiably. I’ve tried accessing this with all of my browsers but only opera mini and CM Browser seem to be working. I don’t know if this is from me tho,but you can try other browsers yourself and see how it turns out.

New Etisalat 4.5GB For N3500 Data Plan

In a bid to satisfy its consumer’s data need, Etisalat NG has introduced a new data plan. This plan is not rather cheap but at least is better than what we use to have. Just  this morning I received a text from etisalat and it goes thus.


This plan offers you 4.5GB data for N3500 and works on all devices with a validity of thirty(30) days. Just a N500 deduction from what we had then. But they say,half bread is better than none,is it not?

 How To Subcribe

 Well if you intend to subscribe for this package, all you have to do is Top-up your line with N3500 and dial *229*2*9# . Soon after youll receive a confimation sms and the airtime will be deducted.

 Not withstanding, I still think etisalat needs to up their game if they wish to remain in the market,owing to the recent fall in data prices and the return of Ntel that offers affordable data with astounding speed. 

 Any Alternative Cheaper Data Plan?

Best Data Plan For Heavy Internet Downloads

Whilst most of us are anxiously waiting to download the hot new episode of the Blockbuster TvShow Game of Thrones, I thought it'll be prudent to brief y'all on the latest available data plans for heavy online downloads.  Glo 6GB For 1500 Naira : Don't be surprised, this plan involves a little trick. As we all know Glo Bis works fine on android. This plan involves topping the Glo bus monthly plan with Glo weekend plan. So you top-up N1000 on your line and subscribe for Month Bis plan by dialing *777*21# of which 3GB will be allocated to you. Soon after load N500 and subscribe for Glo weekend Plan by dialing *777# and follow the prompt. Then again 3GB data will be given to you. All together making 6GB at N1500. Change your APN to glosecure and connect. Better still you can just opt-in for the weekend plan only.

 MTN daily Unlimited data: This plan provides unlimited access to the net for 24 hours at N150. However, few users are eligible. To check if you're eligible dial *567*59# and reply the prompt with 1 to activate.

MTN has completely deactivated all of it BB Plans on android,Glo has increased the price of its blackberry plans.Some people even say it's a plot between the telcos to obiviate free browsing. But nevertheless, we'll always find a way to enjoy inexpensive browsing.

There are a number of affordable plans we can resort to, here are few the plans.

 Etisalat Social Me :You probably think it has stopped working, but actually it hasn't. I've just updated the new settings and you can opt in for this if you have a stable network in your locality. The Social Me plans goes for N300 and lasts for a week. To subscribe for this dial *342*2*1# at N300.

 Etisalat Blackberry Plans :Well this is my favorite which I'm currently using and it's working flawlessly on Android with tremendous speed. Be careful tho ,not to exhaust your 3GB within a day. How To Browse With Etisalat BIS On Android (Updated)

Data plans on Android devices as far as I can say aren’t pocket-friendly,taking into consideration the amount of data we consume internet surfing daily even though there’ve been improvements recently on data plan prices.Our blackberry friends on the other hand,I’ll say are enjoying fare affordable data plans. 


With this in mind, we’ve been able to find a way for Etisalat BIS to work on Android device so you'll enjoy affordable browsing plan too. Although Glo BIS has been working on Android for a while. 
  • First Step is tweak your phone’s IMEI to a blackberry IMEI. You can easily get a blackberry IMEI from a blackberry device, change the last 3 digits and tweak. I’ve been able to make a detailed explanation on How to tweak an MTK device Here for those that are new to tweaking. After tweaking, confirm the IMEI by dialing *#06#
  • Navigate to your phones Access point settings and create a new access point with the following settings:
APN : blackberry.net
Proxy : 10.71.170.5
Port : 8080
Save and select as default.

    How To Get 300MB Weekly On Mtn

    Browsing unlimitedly on MTN hasn't been easy lately, but on etisalat,the N0.0 Magic IP may suffice. However, I'll show you how to get 300MB to browse on Mtn weekly.

    Since the termination of musicplus renewal,we could no longer enjoy Mtn unlimited surfing.Even still, you can get 300MB musicplus data to browse weekly on mtn.
    • Firstly,on your line send D to 5900 after which you’ll receive 150MB .
    • Connect your psiphon with the settings below and exhaust the bundle
    • After, send Cancel,cancel7d,cancel7i respectively to 5900
    • Wait for reply then send I to 5900 to receive another 150MB
    Psiphon Settings For Mtn MusicPlus
    Launch Psiphon and set the following

    • Tick Remove Port
    • Proxy type ; Real Host
    • Custom Header ; X-Online-Host

    A-Z On How To Tweak Your Phone's IMEI

    In light of recent requests I've been receiving, I've finally decided to make a well explained tutorial on the steps to tweak your phones IMEI so you can join the bandwagon of free data.

    Before we begin ill like you to know that tweaking your phone's IMEI is only possible if you have root access. So in other to tweak your phone, to you need to root your Android device.

     How Can I Root My Device

     Different phones have different methods of rooting,you can easily google search how to root your device,root and begin tweaking.

     How To Tweak Your Device

     We'll be focusing on tweaking MTK devices involving the likes of Gionee,Tecno,Innjoo etc.Tweaking of devices like Samsung involves a different process which I'll try to explain some other time. 

     The two apps we're going to be using are

    The first step is always to ensure that you've successfully root your Android phone. You can do this by using Root Check App.Download Root Checker apk and install. 
    Tap on "Verify Root".Soon you'll receive a confirmation message. Once you've successfully confirmed, proceed to the next step. If not, try rooting your device again. 




    Before we proceed to the tweaking proper, I'll like to clarify some terms 

    1. IMEI : This stands for International Mobile Equipment Station Identity which is unique for every device. It's more of less like the fingerprint of a device. It usually consists of 15 digits. 
    2. Tweaking of IMEI: This basically means changing your device IMEI
    3. MTK Engineering Mode: App that enables IMEI modification. 
    4. IMEI Analyzer: helps you find last IMEI number.
    Tweaking Proper


    • Firstly, get the IMEI Number you wish to tweak.For this tutorial, I'll be using "866480013251092" as my IMEI.


    • Copy the IMEI Number into your IMEI AnalyzerDelete the last three or four numbers .I'll be deleting the last four digits. 



    • Add any three or four numbers of your choice such that the digits will be exactly 14 in number. 
    • Tap on analyze,and just underneath, you'll see a 15 digit number which you'll take note of.



    • Launch MTK Engineering mode.Tap on MTK settings and swipe left to connectivity. 
    • Select CDS Information ---> Radio Information.Select the sim which you wish to change IMEI for. 
    • At the region where there's "AT+" type in letter T then clean or backspace the letter.A list of command will be displayed underneath. Select "AT+EGMR=1,7,""



    • Delete the second inverted comma such that the command will be AT+EGMR=1,7,"
    • Type in the noted IMEI number followed by a closing inverted comma.
    • Select "Send At Command". The response " At command is mSent" signifies success. 



    • If you get a response like "This command is not allowed in user inBuilt" panic not. Just add a space between AT and + and select Send At command again. 
    • To fully embed the IMEI, Restart the device or set it on Airplane mode ,then put it back on.
    • You have now successfully tweaked your device. Dial *#06# to confirm your new IMEI.
